Here are our favorite products from 2023. As usual, we sat around a table and obsessively discussed each one - until all three of us agreed that this item belonged on the list. Whether it's kitchen, beauty or fashion, these 14 things will bring value, joy and hopefully make your day better or brighter, as they have ours!
1. Victoria Beckham Eyeliner: We first heard about VB's eyeliner from our favorite make-up artist (@Diane...) when getting our make-up done for photos. She swears by it (and has tried them all). We tried and absolutely love. It goes on easily, but stays put - and comes with a smudge sponge for the perfect smoky eye, if you're going for that.
2. New Balance 327s: A top product from 2023 for sure - we wore these (when we could find them in stock to purchase) with everything from workout leggings to silk skirts and jean shorts. They're comfortable, well-made, and come in many color ways. The black with white "N" are so cute, but hard to find in stock!
3. Paraval Packing Cubes: Once you try them, you never go back! Arrive at your destination, and you are immediately organized as like items are already grouped inside said cube (socks, underwear, bras, then tees, etc!) These zippered pouches hold more than you think and have a compression element - allowing for more room in your suitcase. We especially appreciate the monogram option from Paraval, fun colors and fact that they act as drawers should your destination not have any available!
4. Gap Cheeky Jean: These jeans (currently on sale!) are actually a repeat from 2022 - we love them so much they made the list yet again. The perfect straight leg jean for less (yes, skinny jeans are out!) and a flattering fit through the booty and thighs. We also love them in white for warmer weather and black for winter or date night! These feel like Agolde but are much less in $$ and look great with flats, a bootie, sneaker or a slide. A must try if you haven't!
5. Amazon Diamond Tennis Bracelet: This $18 tennis bracelet from Amazon is literally the best. All of us own, love and receive daily compliments on! Throw it on with your other bracelets or alone and enjoy. Also check out the matching diamond tennis necklace for $36.
6. Burberry Raincoat Dupe: Another top Amazon find from this year! Gretchen sourced this Burberry-esque raincoat and not only did it deliver in functionality, it looks like the real deal and is so cute on!
7. iWalk Portable Phone Charger: Laura and Gretchen's sister-in-law whipped this out on a trip and they both fell in love instantly. The size is perfect, to start - better than the giant brick-sized battery banks we've all seen. It will completely re-charge your phone in one sitting and is easy to tote around even when not traveling. We also love this for teens!
8. Loving Tan "Instant" Sunless Tanner: Say goodbye to spray tans in 2024 - we all did after discovering this product. Simply shower, shave, exfoliate, & apply lotion. Then apply Loving Tan (we recommend grabbing the application mitt here to avoid staining the hands). Massage onto skin and let dry. After an hour you rinse off excess and have a beautiful glowing tan! Lasts for a few days. We recommend and use the "dark" color.
9. Amazon I-Sea Sunnies: These affordable, chic sunnies were our go-to favorites this year. We love the modern shape, and the "oatmeal" color is one you don't see very often. The price can't be beat - as these look expensive but are not - a quality we tend to lean into, if you haven't noticed!
10. Revitalash Lash Conditioner: When we say that we are always on the hunt for products that answer the call of life's turns and twists as you age, we really mean it! Revitalash is a brand we have fallen in love with - as the products truly work. Their lash conditioner and brow serum, check it out here, have improved the overall look of our lashes and brows and we highly recommend giving them a try!
11. Quince Cashmere "Jenni Kayne" Sweater Dupe: When we did a side by side comparison between the Quince Fisherman Hoodie sweater and the real Jenni Kayne one, you literally could not tell a difference. It was unreal. Factor in the massive price difference and the choice is easy. We love Quince cashmere.
12. "The Idea of You:" Escapism beach reading at its best, right here. We all poured through this steamy novel over the summer, and felt legit sadness upon finishing it. Messages came in from our followers that it was the best summer read ever - grab for your next trip (or book club) and enjoy!
13. Favorite Daughter Valentina Cigarette Ankle Jeans: We partnered with Favorite Daughter last year and got to pick some clothing to show. These jeans were a favorite of all 3 of us! The straight leg cut is current and fresh, and the hem perfect as it hits just above the ankle, making them a true day to night workhorse of a jean. Run true to size.
14. M-61 Body Sunscreen: Living in AZ, we take our sunscreen quite seriously. This one feels lovely going on, is a clean brand and is hydrating, firming and contains peptides. We love that we're smoothing, firming and combatting dryness all while preventing sun damage.
