FATHER'S DAY GUIDE 2020

It’s June and now it’s their turn. The mid-month Sunday when we get to give thanks and appreciation for all the fathers and father figures out there is fast approaching. Instead of putting together a long list of options, or taking time shopping things we think the men in our life would like, we decided to turn to the guys themselves. We asked each of our hubbies to pick one of their favorite things. Something they reach for again and again. Our guys love these items and we think your main man and the dad in your life may like them too. Here are four simple Father’s Day gifts your guy will love.

Our Guys’ Favorite Things

  • Andrew heard about Sportique t-shirts from a friend and loves them because of the simplicity, soft material and fit. Andrew is tall, and many shirts are too short on him.

  • Funny story, but Andrew actually introduced these Blender sunglasses to Ryan and they’re his new go-to. He prefers the polarized version and loves the price.

  • Pat uses this speaker to listen to music any time he is on a golf cart. Bose is hard to beat in quality, and this little speaker delivers.

  • Ben’s favorite work-out shorts, hands down. This brand, Vuori, also has lots of other comfy and practical sport clothing options your guy may also love…

Our Guys’ Favorite Recipes

In the hopes of rounding out the Father’s Day planning for you, we also put together an easy “go to” meal with these recipes from each of our guys. Add his favorite salad or brownie and boom! Father’s day is done.

BEN’S “COOLER CORN” - tutorial below!

Everyone loves corn on the cob, but making it for a big crowd can be a giant pain. Cooler corn’s got you covered! It’s really quite simple:

Start by shucking all the corn you need. You can make as little as 2, or up to 60. You are really only limited by the size of what your cooler can hold!

Lay all those ears in the bottom of your cooler

Boil water. LOTS of water. You may need to use every burner on the stove. But don’t worry, those burners will soon be free for other things

Pour boiling water over the corn, making sure the ears are covered. Close lid. You can also add salt and butter to the water for flavor.

That’s it! Come back 30 minutes later to perfectly cooked corn.
